KOKYU

KOKYU · iPhone & Apple Watch

A little stillness.
A rhythm of your own.

Make a little room for yourself. A soft wave of dots on a blue-violet screen helps you follow a breathing rhythm you choose.

How to use KOKYU

YOUR RHYTHM

Leave space for your own pace.

Set inhale, hold, and exhale to comfortable lengths. The initial ten-second phases are editable examples, not a recommendation for everyone. Set hold to zero if you prefer no hold.

  1. Choose your timing

In Settings, choose each phase, a preparation period, and a timed session or manual ending. On Watch, use the minus and plus buttons. Watch sessions end within one hour of starting.

  2. Begin breathing

Follow the phase label and the wave of changing dot sizes. Watch can guide phase changes with taps according to your settings. Elapsed time is the session total, separate from the count within each phase.

  3. Pause or finish when you need

Paused time is excluded from the total. Review your time in app history after ending. Finishing early still records the time you spent.

OPTIONAL HEALTH

Apple Health is free, too.

In Settings, choose active-time saving and existing heart-rate access separately, then review the system permission sheet. Breathing and app history work without Health access. Past history is not written automatically.

Normal guidance does not start a new heart-rate measurement. A separate Watch workout mode may create a workout and related data. Missing heart rate is never fabricated or filled in.

ONE-TIME SUPPORT

A small, optional thank-you.

Breathing, haptics, history, and Health integration are free. Optional support is a one-time purchase, priced at ¥300 in Japan, with no subscription or recurring charge. It changes no features or permissions.

Support is available from iPhone Settings when the product can be loaded. Check Apple's purchase sheet for your local price. Restore support or earlier purchase with the same Apple Account. Earlier Health purchases are recognized, so you are not asked to support again.

SUPPORT

A few things to know.

Watch updates more slowly when my wrist is down

watchOS manages standby display updates. When second-by-second updates are unavailable, KOKYU shows minutes. Screen illumination, second-by-second updates, and continuous haptic delivery are not guaranteed. If something seems wrong, check the build number and on-device diagnostics in Settings. A logged haptic request is not proof that a tap was delivered.

What happens when iPhone locks?

KOKYU prevents automatic sleep during active breathing guidance and returns to normal when you pause or end. Manual lock or moving the app into the background pauses the session.

Heart rate is missing, or time was not saved to Health

No purchase is required. Check your chosen data types and system permissions. Existing heart rate is used only when a real measurement is available; denied read access and missing measurements may look the same. Haptics may interrupt heart-rate collection in workout mode. A heart-rate sample is not guaranteed in every session.

How do I delete history?

Choose a record in History and confirm deletion. This updates app history on the paired device but does not delete Apple Health records. Manage Health records through Apple's apps or settings.

I cannot restore support

Use the same Apple Account as the original purchase, reconnect, and choose Restore support or earlier purchase. All features work even if purchasing or restoring is unavailable. Avoid repeated purchase attempts; contact support if needed.

KOKYU is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or guarantee health benefits. Choose comfortable durations.
